  • In 1940, when Walter Lantz got married and by the help of her wife got the idea of creating Woody Woodpecker along with Andy Panda. Andy Panda was the first hit that made Walter Lantz be famous.
  • Creator of Woody Woodpecker along with other characters from Universal Pictures is Walter Lantz (Walter Benjamin Lantz) born in April 27, 1899 in NY, Rochelle with a family of Italian immigrants, his parents name Francesco Paolo Lantz and Maria Gervasi.
